Room felt like we were staying in a cheap motel. We were moved to another room and, by surprise, we were actually downgraded.
He said I need to speak to the manager and moved us to another room (only after we requested it) An hour later, Security finally comes and said there's not much he can do but take pics. Called guest services about our findings, told they don't handle it, that I need to speak to Security. Covered with dust and lots of hair that wasn't ours. As we went through the mattress to see if there are more bed bugs, we noticed how filthy the mattress protector was. Also saw one randomly drop on the bathroom floor. Next day, found room infested with bed bugs. Felt itchy first night but didn't think much of it.
Westgate is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.
